From Dr. Schreiber:
"As a board certified plastic surgeon, I strive to provide excellent care with honesty, respect, and dignity for my patients. I believe that hair transplant procedures symbolize more than simply “changing the way you look”. They should focus on changing how you feel about yourself allowing a newfound inner confidence to emerge and mirror the enhancement of your external appearance.
Hair restoration represents a personal choice for you. That is why I apply a one-on-one individualized approach to your treatment. During your initial consultation, we will work to determine which procedures best meet your goals and then tailor your treatment plan accordingly. This personal level of attention will continue as I am available to each of my patients at every step of the process - before, during and well after your procedure and recovery. In addition, you will find my talented and caring support staff to be just as attentive and accommodating as myself to all of your needs.
My surgical training at Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland fostered an appreciation for practicing medicine with integrity and commitment to my patients. It also stimulated a desire to constantly advance my knowledge and it allows me to provide my patients with the latest advances in hair restoration procedures. Some of the newest innovations include micrograft hair transplantation, single follicle eyebrow transplantation, and single follicle eyelash transplantation.
My dedication to hair restoration, as well as, to plastic surgery continues beyond my personal practice as I have published numerous journal articles and textbook chapters, and my research has been presented at local, national, and international meetings. As a Baltimore hair transplant specialist, I have also assumed leadership roles in professional associations and organizations. Finally, and most importantly, I recognize the importance of the surrounding community that supports me. Therefore, I have conducted free lectures for both medical and nonmedical groups to help them better understand the role of a hair restoration physician as well as dispel many of the myths they may have heard regarding hair transplants.
On a personal note, I am an artist by nature and I have displayed my work at an exhibit hosted by the St. Louis Artists’ Guild. When patients ask me why I chose to perform hair transplant procedures, I tell them that I always knew I wanted to be a surgeon, but I chose to be a Baltimore plastic surgeon with a special emphasis on hair restoration because of the creativity and artistry required to become one."
